FRIENDS OF SANDY LAKE MAKES PRESENTATION FOR AIS INSPECTORS AT SANDY LAKE

The Friends of Sandy Lake committee on Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) made a presentation to the Council of Harrison Park for AIS Inspectors at Sandy Lake's main dock.

  Present were Daryl Kines, Victor Kowal, and Jim Irwin who reviewed, discussed, and made representation to Council regarding Aquatic Invasive Species and suggested steps to protect lakes within the Municipality.
  
  

• Motion 266/2017: Craig Atkinson – Lloyd Ewashko RESOLVED THAT administration be instructed develop a special services area plan for aquatic invasive species, specifically for the properties in and around Sandy Lake.    CARRIED.
