ABOUT US

Friends of Sandy Lake is a non-profit group that promotes and supports a number of activities to improve the social life in the community and help preserve the lake as a recreational area for all to enjoy.

Meetings are held at the drop-in centre at 11:00 am on the Sunday of summer long weekends beginning with the May long weekend. The last meeting of the season is held on the September long weekend.

Meetings are open to everyone and all are welcome.

The meetings are well attended and members of other organizations often attend and give updates on what they are doing that is of interest to the group. Councillors from the Municipality of Harrison Park and village committee members attend regularly.
